Scholarships

We value diversity and want to ensure that the BTDS2024 is an inclusive event.

To achieve this, we are offering a number of scholarships for people to attend to ensure the ticket cost isn’t a barrier for people getting involved.

 

In-person Scholarship

Attendance in-person to the summit in Melbourne Australia
Access to online sessions
Access to all summit session recordings after the event

Application Deadline: Monday 18th March, 2024

Virtual Scholarship

Attendance online across both days of the summit
Access to all summit session recordings after the event

Application Deadline: Monday 25th March, 2024

Representation

We offer scholarships to people from communities that we believe need to be represented at BTDS2024 including:

  • Young people aged 25 and under
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
  • People with disability
  • People from a migrant/refugee background
  • People who live in regional and rural areas
  • Unwaged activists

Regardless of this list, we encourage everyone who would like a scholarship to apply.

Criteria

People with a demonstrated interest, experience, and/or expertise in the field of education, who would otherwise be unable to attend the summit without the assistance of a scholarship.
